I read an article this morning called Recognizing our Source, by Os Hillman. In the article, he uses this reference:
What the Bible says:
But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth. - Deuteronomy 8:18a
After reading the article I went on to the Dictionary.com site. You see, I'm a writer and I love words! I looked at the definition of the word source, and its synonyms. There were several examples for the definition, but two stood out to me:
What Dictionary.com says:
1. Any thing or place from which something comes, arises, or is obtained; origin. The synonyms that trailed that example were: supplier; originator.
2. A manufacturer or supplier, with the trailing synonyms of: authority; reference.
Here's what I say:
Yes my God is all of these; He’s my Supplier, my Originator, my Authority, my Reference and my Source!
