Here’s what the Bible says:
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts. 1 John 1: 8-10 (NLT).
And to that, I say:
Heavenly Father I am a sinner saved by Your grace. You have shown me many times that I am not perfect and I thank You for the illumination. Please forgive me for the sins I knowingly commit as well as those I unknowingly commit. Please continue teaching me and showing me who I am. Lord, help me keep the mirror on myself. I believe in You Lord Jesus, and in Your Word, amen.
