Twice a year we change our clocks and when those times comes, we either “spring ahead, or fall back.” I used to get mixed up about springing ahead and falling back but not anymore. This time we’ll be “falling back”. I’m clear on it now.
There’s another kind of “falling back” I’m clear on too and that’s the big “B”: Backsliding.
If there's some backsliding going on in your life right now know that you are not unique in this. There are, and will be times that we as believers will struggle to live faithful lives, and sometimes we just don’t get it right. But we can’t give up. Strive to keep moving in the right direction because:
Backsliding is a believer driving in the wrong direction on a ONE WAY road! It's dangerous and can be deadly!
Jesus said “I am the WAY, and the truth, and the life." (John 14:6 ESV)
