Ever buy something online and when you get it, it doesn't fit just the way you wanted it to, or you don't like the color, and you want to do an exchange for something else? You decide to take advantage of the store's exchange policy and do an even exchange, and if you can make that happen then everything is a wash.
If the new item is of less monetary value than the item that you are exchanging it for, then you are looking for a return of the difference you paid. If that money is not forthcoming, then there's going to be hell to pay for the merchant who is trying to beat you out of your cash with this uneven exchange.
But, you know something? There’s another uneven exchange that was done on my behalf and had it not been done, there would have been hell to pay, for me! But… He exchanged His righteousness for my sin!
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2Cor 5:21(NKJV)
Thank You Lord!
