"Is that a READ!!?"
If someone is commenting on you, or trying to tell you about yourself in a SUBTLE way, you might raise an eyebrow and indignantly ask, "Is that a read?" (knowing good and well that it is) and if they get you mad enough it could start a big old argument.
But here's a read that's not SUBTLE; it's up close and personal. But once the Source has been considered there shouldn't be a raised eyebrow or argument in the house!
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 1st John 1:8 (NKJV)
