Do you remember this phrase? "I got your back!" Now it's been shortened and people say: "I got you!"
In either case, these are phrases that make you feel good, feel safe, and protected; especially if it's said by someone you trust, and know to be capable of delivering on that promise. But here's the thing: What person can be there for you ALL OF THE TIME? It's just not realistic, or even humanly possible since we all have our own confusions and problems to solve.
Not to worry though, for there is ONE, and I'm reassured every time I read the 23rd Psalm. I know I'm protected and I know He's got me, because like some of the words in a song that I love says: "When the storms of life are raging and the billows roll, I'm glad He shall hide me safe in His arms." Are YOU safe today?
