All I have needed Thy hand hath provided--
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. Psalm 103:1, Luke 1:49 (KJV) Some won’t eat pork and look down on those who do. Some won’t eat beef and will only eat chicken. Some won’t eat a burger unless it is made of fish. Some won’t eat products of eggs, milk, and cheese. Some will only eat food that comes from plants. Its different strokes for different folks! But here’s a stroke of genius: For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 (NLT) Photo from: www.biobolt.e-tar.hu "The Walking Dead" is one of the most gory and bone-chilling shows on TV and yet, I watch. Growing up, movies that made me cover my eyes during the scariest parts always intrigued me and it’s no different now. But, watching “The Walking Dead” are also some of the most beautiful and heartwarming scenarios I can experience. When is that you might ask? Well, it’s those times when I watch myself forgive instead of retaliate against someone who has offended me. It’s those times when any resentment in me is swallowed up by “death to myself”, so that Christ can love through me. That’s when I am most beautiful and heartwarming. That’s when I am “The Walking Dead” It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Galatians 2:20 (ESV) Photo From: abrahamsdream.com
To anyone who is about to go through something, or is in the midst of going through something, or is just coming out of going through something… May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NLT) photo from: viha.ca Whatever it is...give it to Jesus! Appreciate the privilege of prayer Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer! That calls me from a world of care, And bids me at my Father's throne Make all my wants and wishes known. - William Walford “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (NIV) photo from:linkedin.com Twice a year we change our clocks and when those times comes, we either “spring ahead, or fall back.” I used to get mixed up about springing ahead and falling back but not anymore. This time we’ll be “falling back”. I’m clear on it now. There’s another kind of “falling back” I’m clear on too and that’s the big “B”: Backsliding. If there's some backsliding going on in your life right now know that you are not unique in this. There are, and will be times that we as believers will struggle to live faithful lives, and sometimes we just don’t get it right. But we can’t give up. Strive to keep moving in the right direction because: Backsliding is a believer driving in the wrong direction on a ONE WAY road! It's dangerous and can be deadly! Jesus said “I am the WAY, and the truth, and the life." (John 14:6 ESV) Photo from: signalfan.com |
